“Chyllydown”

“GG” foaled between midnight and 5:30 am on 6 May, 2016.  We have a chestnut and white filly –   :shocked   look at all this white  –   :shocked  !

Sierra went out and saw them first, then came and got me.  I went out, checked on “GG” and her new foal, checked the sex (FILLY), watched her nurse, took some pics and then returned to the house for much needed coffee and to upload pics.

Once the grand daughters’ up and dressed, we went back out.  We were handling the filly when Larry arrived home – got a few pics and some even turned out pretty nice.  It’s been a bit damp and chilly, some rain, some “spitting” and then clears and sun comes out and it warms up for a few minutes.  Then “spits” again…  “Chyllydown” fits!!

and her name is only partially because of the weather.  We are also BIG Labyrinth fans – here’s the video of the song she’s named after (with different spelling).
